Closures needed for bridge girder work at Live Oak Drive Bridge in McLean

FAIRFAX, VA - Crews are scheduled to work on bridge girders at the Live Oak Drive bridge over I-495 in McLean during overnight hours tomorrow, Friday, April 26, requiring triple lane closures in both directions on I-495 (Capital Beltway) approximately between Georgetown Pike, Exit 44 and George Washington Memorial Parkway, Exit 43. Intermittent traffic stoppages of up to 30 minutes each also will occur. Live Oak Drive bridge over I-495 is being rebuilt as part of the 495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) project.

Stoppages to occur between midnight and 5 a.m. for temporary signal work

FAIRFAX, VA - Periodic traffic stoppages are scheduled to occur on eastbound and westbound Georgetown Pike at the I-495 intersection during overnight hours tonight, Wednesday, April 24 for crews to work on temporary traffic signals. Stoppages may be up to 30 minutes each and will occur between the hours of 12 Midnight and 5 a.m. the following morning.

Closures needed for overhead sign repair work

FAIRFAX, VA - Weather permitting, crews plan to make repairs to an overhead dynamic message sign during overnight hours tonight. During this work, three lanes of southbound I-495 (Capital Beltway) will be closed near the Georgetown Pike Exit 44 beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, April 18 until no later than 5 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, April 19.
