The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) held a public information meeting on June 11, 2018, at Cooper Middle School in McLean, regarding plans to extend the I-495 Express Lanes by approximately three miles from the Dulles Toll Road interchange toward the Maryland line in the vicinity of the American Legion Bridge.
